atsec participates in GTC Southwest 2007

Austin, TX - atsec information security corporation will be an exhibitor in the Government Technology Conference (GTC) Southwest 2007 conference and exhibition at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, TX from 31 January-1 February, 2007.

atsec will staff a booth at the exhibition (booth #915), offering details about its wide range of IT security services. atsec’s testing and evaluation services include Common Criteria evaluation, FIPS 140-2 cryptographic module and cryptographic algorithm testing, and FIPS 201 personal identity verification testing. Consulting services include consulting for Common Criteria and FIPS 140-2 as well as standards and regulatory-based consulting for FISMA certification, HIPAA compliance and ISO/IEC 27001; Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) assessment; and classic IT consulting including penetration testing, analysis of specific security technologies, and integration of security solutions.

In addition to providing IT security services directly to government agencies, atsec is a participant in the VetsAmerica Team, which recently became qualified as part of the Veterans Technology Services (VETS) Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) program (GSA contract #GS-06F-0533Z).

The theme of the conference, the largest technology expo in Texas, is “Business and Technology Training for Government.” The targeted audience includes government IT decision-makers, and offers an opportunity for attendees to keep current on the latest technology, see what other government agencies are doing with technology, and explore solutions for current and future technology needs.
